International Facility Management Association, IFMA

Founded in 1980, IFMA is the world's largest and most widely recognized international association for facility management professionals, supporting 23,170 members in 85 countries. Planon contributes to many IFMA initiatives and publications like ‘Work on the Move’, a book that has received a distinguished author award during the IFMA World Workplace Conference 2012, and IFMA publication 'Technology for Facilities Managers’, presenting an overview of the key technology trends and how technology can advance the Facility and Real Estate Management industry.

Erik Jaspers, CTO at Planon, is a member of the launch committee for the Workplace Evolutionaries group. This group, created by IFMA’s Corporate Real Estate Council, provides a collaborative and learning environment to help evolve the workplace, expand workplace innovation and empower people.

Facilities Management Association, FMA

The FMA is the UK’s leading body for Facilities Management service providers, representing excellence in the Facilities Management industry. Members have a collective annual turnover of over £40 billion and employ more than 500,000 people across the UK. Planon has been a member of the FMA for several years and participates actively in the association. Planon set up and currently chairs the FMA’s Technology Working Party – with the stated aims of communicating the benefits of technology and defining what the future of technology will look like for the FM industry.

European Facility Management Network, EuroFM

EuroFM is the European network that stimulates the visibility and value from FM by combining practice, education and research into one networked platform. The yearly European Facility Management Congress (EFMC) is organized by EuroFM and has become the largest knowledge-sharing event in the FM industry. Planon contributes to this event with case studies and thought-leader presentations and participates in the associated exhibition.

German Facility Management Association, GEFMA

GEFMA is the German network for executives in facilities management and represents important companies providing full services, commercial, technical and infrastructural services, real estate management, consulting and financial or IT services. Facility Management Nederland, FMN

FMN is the professional Dutch association in the field of facility management. The association contributes to the development and promotion of this branch, bringing its members together and keeping them informed. FMN’s mission statement is: Professionalization Facility Management Processes. Planon participates in many FMN initiatives, is an active member of the Sustainability Chapter and contributes with thought-leader articles in FMI, the networks’ magazine. With the Sustainability Chapter, Planon is co-hosting a series of sustainability webinars in dutch. In support of FMN’s mission, Planon has been a loyal sponsor of this network for many years.

Founded in 1995, the non-profit organization Facility Management Austria (FMA) sees itself as the Austrian business network for facility management. Members are well-known national and international companies and organizations, associations and training institutions as well as other individuals involved in Facility Management education and CAFM & IWMS training.

Association des Responsables de Services Généraux, ARSEG

Founded in 1975, Arseg gathers more than 2000 French members, approximately 1800 facilities managers and 250 providers as associate members. Arseg provides members with services and tools, helping them to exercise their job more efficiently, while raising the profile of the profession. Planon has been an active member of Arseg since 2009 by participating in conferences and workshops and by sharing experience and best practices in the association’s magazine,'ARSEG'.

Association des Directeurs Immobiliers, ADI

ADI is the French association of Real Estate Directors. Founded in 1996, the association facilitates more than 250 members that represent 250 million m2 building space in France. ADI supports its members with knowledge, methodologies and networking to constantly develop the profession of Real Estate Management. Planon contributes to ADI by sponsoring conferences and sharing experience in areas like Sustainability in Real Estate and the added value of IWMS in this domain.
