Planon expands North American operations with acquisition of Site Alpha

Boston, MA, July 18, 2011 – Planon Inc. is pleased to announce that it has reached a definite agreement to acquire Montreal-based Site Alpha Inc., a leading building maintenance and property management software developer. Over its 20-year history, Site Alpha has leveraged its leadership in innovation to build a comprehensive roster of clients across key sectors, including healthcare, financial services and education.

“This partnership reflects a commitment to extend our North American leadership in Integrated Workplace Management Solutions,” says Planon founder and CEO Pierre Guelen. “We are extremely excited to add such a talented and motivated team to the Planon family.”

With solutions implemented at more than 4,000 locations, Site Alpha systems optimize the operation and management of more than 1.5 billion square feet of commercial space. Its staff in Montreal will work together with Planon’s Boston headquarters to accelerate Planon’s leadership in providing corporate customers with powerful yet user friendly tools to automate all their enterprise real estate and facilities management operations, dramatically cutting costs while delivering optimal service.
