Throughout his tenure, he showcased expertise in strategic consultancy, focusing on the alignment of business processes and successful implementation of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) and Facility Management Information Systems (FMIS). Geert's impact was particularly notable in the Dutch governmental segment, where he effectively deployed software solutions tailored to their unique needs.

His career spans roles in consultancy, project management, and service management across multiple countries and sectors, showing his diverse skill set and dedication to delivering value in each role. His journey at Planon began as Business Consultant responsible for strategic consultancy to organisations on business processes and implementing software solutions. Later, he explored positions within the company, focusing on Global Product Project Management and Global Product Marketing. Geert’s expertise extends to programme management as he oversaw the successful implementation of Planon Software at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His last position at Planon was Manager of the Request for Proposal (RFP) team.
