International HR Business Partner - HQ Nijmegen

As HR Business Partner for our entities in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Sweden, you will be the trusted partner to our management while promoting our people-oriented culture. We truly believe our people are our number one priority – our people make magic happen.

You will be working alongside managers to provide them with expert guidance and support on all HR related topics to strengthen the business performance of individuals and teams. You play a vital part in optimizing the Planon employee experience through smooth processes and great HR services.

In addition, you will support the HR advisor with the necessary HR-related administrative and legal tasks. You will be using your own HR experience to maintain a great work atmosphere and to execute effective retention strategies.

You are part of our global HR team and work closely with all HR colleagues around the globe. You will report to the HR Director.


You successfully fulfil your role by:

  • Advising and supporting our management team on career & performance management, employee relations, employee benefits (within corporate guidelines), re-integration & absence prevention, and HR-related legal matters;
  • Being able to assess the cognitive and behavioural aspects of a new hire in terms of fitting the organization culture;
  • Handling employee relations and building a great work atmosphere aligned with our corporate culture;
  • Supporting the HR advisor to assure up-to-date personnel administration, insurances administration, and payroll processing;
  • Assuring smooth onboarding, internal transition and offboarding processes;
  • Providing input on policies, procedures and legislation, and maintaining country-specific remuneration packages and the employee handbooks for the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Sweden;
  • Developing and implementing global HR strategies, tooling and guidelines within your region.

Our ideal candidate ticks the following boxes:

  • A bachelor’s degree in the field of HR;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar HRBP position;
  • In-depth knowledge of general HR topics, including current legal matters related to employment in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Sweden;
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Dutch.

If you already have HR experience in an IT company and understand the dynamics of technology teams, this would be an added advantage.
