Case Study - Vitens

Vitens employs over 1,430 people, all of whom share a passion for water. Their task is to extract, purify and supply top quality drinking water each and every day. Water is a field in its own right, a field that requires creativity, innovation, perseverance and a sense of responsibility.

Last year, the Planon ITSM solution was implemented in the organisation. The previous IT package no longer met the functional requirements. Bert Bannink, Manager of Information Management, says: ‘We have been working according to the “Demand & Supply” model since 2010. This is where processes and agreements are able to optimally align the supply of and demand for information. It means clearly identifying all the activities in which the organisation is engaged in order to optimise business operations.
