October 17th 2016 – Planon announced today that Nancy Johnson Sanquist has joined Planon as the VP of Global Strategic Marketing. In this role, Sanquist will further position Planon as the world leader in facility and property management technology.
“I am excited to have Nancy join the Planon team,” said Fred Guelen, CFO. “The fact that she chose Planon as the next step in her career shows we have the best potential for growth in the IWMS market in the coming years.”
Sanquist is an IFMA Fellow, AIA associate and serves as the second vice chair on the IFMA Foundation. She is an expert in CAFM and IWMS technology and has lectured extensively around the world, as well as authored many articles, book chapters and blogs. At the 2016 IFMA World Workplace in San Diego, Sanquist received the “Chairman's Citation” for the work she has done through the years with IFMA.
Before getting involved in technology, she was first trained as an art and architectural historian (UCLA and Bryn Mawr College), then in architecture and urban planning at Columbia. Sanquist was the first historic preservation officer for Easton Pennsylvania, and has served on the boards of the LA Conservancy, Watts Towers, Schindler House, as well as the DMVA and Planning Commission in Del Mar, California. Sanquist supports the concepts of STEAM (combining art and science) in her work with the IFMA Foundation’s Global Workforce Initiative, which she co-designed with several trustees of the organisation.
