Founded in 1963, Gasunie Transport Services offers integrated, cross-border natural gas transport services to the integrated European gas market. The company is solely owned by the Dutch government, and has a crossborder Gasunie pipeline network in Germany and the Netherlands.
Gasunie represents the main network of natural gas transportation in the country, which extends to a total of 9,300 miles. More than 33 trillion gallons of natural gas flow through their pipes every year, which represents 25% of the total usage of natural gas in Europe. To manage operations in this organization, Gasunie was still using pen and paper.
