Facilities management and social media – who to read and follow?

In any industry that changes as rapidly as facilities management, it is vital to keep track of the latest news and developments. In the “old days,” traditional media would be the first source of information for many FM professionals. While they still exist and continue to be relevant, social media have partially replaced print as the primary source of industry news. LinkedIn, Twitter, and blogs are the first platforms to identify and report on developments.

The downside is that there are so many of them, it can be difficult to separate the useful sources from the others. Therefore, we have compiled a short list of LinkedIn groups, Twitter profiles, and blogs that can help you to get industry-specific news and best practices.
