Annemarie Tuinstra

Annemarie Tuinstra joined Planon in 2026 as Chief Human Resources Officer, where she is responsible for leading the global HR organisation and shaping the people strategy in support of long-term growth, innovation and customer success.

Annemarie brings extensive international HR leadership experience across industrial, engineering and technology-driven environments. Before joining Planon, she served as CHRO at Nijhuis Saur Industries, where she supported organisational growth and development across multiple regions. Prior to that, she held senior HR leadership roles at CECO Environmental Corporation, working with diverse teams across EMEA, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at AVIKO and SAAB Technologies.

Her background reflects a strong track record in talent development, organisational transformation, AI & digitalisation, M&A integration, and building high performing, people-centric organisations. She is passionate about aligning HR strategy with business objectives and creating environments where people and organisations can thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Annemarie has a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management & Social Business Information from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences.

In her spare time, Annemarie enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and travelling. She was an avid field hockey player, competing at high level, and later remained active in the sport as a player, trainer and coach. Annemarie is married and has two children, so weekends are often spent supporting their sons on the football field.
