    This enables Planon to provide you with a (Trial) Licence for the products offered in the Marketplace and contact you for marketing purposes related to the Marketplace products used by you or additional products which may be relevant for you.

    When you are interested in a (Trial) Licence, request such a licence, during and after your use of such a licence, when you request licences for additional products and when you have filled in the ‘Contact me’ form in the Planon product.

    Planon offers a portal to support Developers to build apps on the Planon Platform. By registering to the Planon Developer Portal, developers are provided with information to start building apps.

    In order to enable you to access and use the Planon Developer Portal, we need to process your Personal Data to set up your account. By registering you get access to documentation, a knowledge-base, a forum etc.

    Planon takes technical and organisational security measures to protect your Personal Data against unintended deletion, change or loss, as well as to protect against unauthorised transfer or access.

    Sharing of personal data

    Your Personal Data may be shared with third party data recipients.

    Data controller

    We share your Personal Data within the Planon Group, please see listing above, and, if applicable, share your Personal Data with a country specific reseller/partner. Personal Data is transferred for the purpose of:

    • answering your request and/or
    • the establishment of contact and the associated technical administration and/or
    • contacting you for a (new) opportunity and/or
    • informing you about new Planon product offers and other relevant information, e.g. general (news) articles about facility management and real estate management.
    Data processors

    To provide you with our services, we may disclose your Personal
    Data to contractors who assist us in doing so e.g. Marketing Automation Systems (Marketo, InsideView), Customer Relationship Management Systems (Salesforce, Showpad (for Showpad we also apply these use and privacy terms), Web traffic analytics (Google, VWO, Modx, Moz). Advertisement Platforms (Bing Ads, Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing Ads), HR Vacancy Systems (Talentsoft).

    All transfers are based on data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 sec. 3 GDPR. Therefore, our contractors will only use your Personal Data when necessary to perform their functions and are contractually bound to process Personal Data only on our behalf and in compliance with our requests.

    Cross boarder transfers

    When sharing your Personal Data, it may be transferred to other countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA). All transfers are secured and between Planon offices, servers are located at Planon offices and under strict supervision of the Planon Head Office located in the Netherlands. All data processing is protected by high standard information security requirements which ensure an adequate level of data protection. We will provide you with further information and/or relevant contracts and certificates upon request.

    Your data protection rights

    You have the right to transparency and know what we do with your data. Please note: automated decision making and/or profiling are not applicable.

    You have the right to request:

    • If we process your Personal Data and how we collected it
    • A copy of your Personal Data
    • Where we process your Personal Data as well as the:

    How long will your personal data be stored?

    Planon stores Personal Data no longer than as permitted by law and required for the purpose for which the Personal Data is processed. How long certain Personal Data will be stored depends on the nature of the Personal Data and the purpose for which the Personal Data will be used. This means that the duration of the storage of your Personal Data depends on the purpose. In most cases the following is applicable: When a prospect has not interacted with Planon in the past year (not visited our websites, not opened e-mails, not visited events) the data is removed after one year of inactivity.

    Cookies

    “Cookies” are files which store certain information on your computer. When you visit our Website, it is possible that we place a cookie on your computer that maintains certain information so we can automatically recognise your computer the next time you visit the Website.

    EU Legislation Compliance

    Planon’s privacy and data protection practices are made and performed in accordance with the European Union Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 2009/136/EC. Similarly, our data security practice is in accordance with, amongst others, the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG in Germany) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (in the United Kingdom).

    In particular, Planon has implemented the latest data protection requirements of the Schrems II ruling of the European Court of Justice from July 16, 2020. Please find more information in our Trust Center under the following link.

    Non-personal data

    In addition to Personal Data, Planon may automatically track general Information such as Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the website you came from, number of visits, average time of use and pages accessed. Your identity cannot be determined with this Information. We only use the Information to analyse aggregated traffic patterns throughout the Website to continually improve the quality of our content, user friendliness, efficiency etc.

    This Privacy Policy exclusively addresses the activities of the Website. Other sites (including those that we link to from our Website, and third party sites or services which we co-brand) may have their own policies, which we do not control, and thus are not addressed by this Privacy Policy.
