Darlene Pope

Darlene is the President of Planon, North America, where she oversees all business operations for the world's leading integrated real estate management solutions. With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, technology, and smart building consulting, Darlene is a globally recognised subject matter expert and visionary in the smart building industry.

As a member of the global Growth Strategy Board, Darlene contributes to strategy and tactics to strengthen Planon's market position in smart building and smart workplace solutions. She also leads the overall business strategy and product positioning in North America, responding to market conditions and customer demand.

Prior to joining Planon, Darlene held various leadership positions in the industry. She served as Vice President for Smart Buildings and Digital Workplace at WeWork, as well as EVP/Managing Director and Global Practice Lead for JLL's Smart Building Practice. Darlene was also the founder and CEO of CoR Advisors®, a woman-owned small business, specialising in technology consulting for commercial and corporate real estate, which was acquired by JLL in 2015.

Darlene is a passionate advocate for the application of leading-edge technology in buildings. She is an inspirational author and speaker on digital transformation and the future of work. She has received several awards for her expertise and inspiration, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Connected Real Estate Magazine for her individual excellence and outstanding initiative, vision, impact, and inspiration to others.
