Dr. Christopher Brennan

Christopher brings extensive experience as a sales leader, general manager and non-executive board advisor in the EMEA IT and cyber security industry, including SaaS, IoT, Services, Critical Infrastructure and integrated AI-based security platforms. During the last 18 years, he has worked for post-startups, helping them achieve significant growth or venture into new directions. In the past Christopher held positions at renowned, globally active companies such as BP Oil, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe and McAfee.

He is responsible for the daily management of the Planon Facilities business line in the EMEA Central business area. He serves as a strategic partner to the Sales and Services management, overseeing operations. He also actively contributes to the expansion of Planon’s value proposition, brand awareness and market share within the DACH area.

Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from University College Cork, an MBA from ESCP Business School and a PhD in Management Information Systems and IT Innovation from Cranfield University.

Christopher comes from Cork in Ireland. He is a convinced European, having lived and studied in several countries, including England, France, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany. He enjoys the mountains in Bavaria and Tyrol, where he goes skiing and hiking with his family: his wife and two children. His hobbies include playing chess and reading history books. Additionally, he collects old, antique Irish silver teapots.
