Jeroen is an iSAQB certified software architect, lead engineer and developer coach. As lead architect, he is responsible for the vision, strategy and solution design of the frontend technology landscape of Planon.

Jeroen has over 12 years of experience in software development. He specialises in the design and implementation of web apps, ranging from IoT business solutions to high-traffic e-commerce platforms. His core focus is on crafting effective architecture: designing elegantly and correctly, whilst adding tangible value. His motto is 'Getting things done today, while maintaining the ability to getting things done tomorrow'. Jeroen’s expertise includes micro frontend architecture enterprise web applications and design systems. He joined Planon in 2021 as a developer expert, after which he moved on to become a lead architect in 2022.
Before joining Planon, Jeroen worked in various roles as software architect for several organisations, such as de Volksbank, Frontmen and Kramp. He has been a speaker at various industry events, such as J-Fall, and regional and in-company meetups. Jeroen has a Bachelor in ICT from HAN University of Applied Sciences and a Master in Computer Science from the Radboud University.
In his free time, Jeroen likes to play the piano, play board games and read a good book. He also volunteers as a guide for novice rock climbers.
