Koos van Rij

Koos van Rij boasts an impressive 17-year career at Planon where he currently serves as the Professional Services Director, overseeing the Central European Services teams responsible for implementing and delivering managed services.
His commitment goes beyond service delivery as he nurtures long-term client relationships, striving to maximise their benefits from the Planon platform. Koos's extensive experience spans various roles, including Services Director Global Accounts and Service Delivery Manager Global Accounts.

Beyond his professional life, he is co-owner of the Easy Horse Ranch, a Western Horse Training Stable. Koos's diverse background, encompassing IT consulting, education support, and GIS consultancy, showcases his versatility. Originally Dutch, he now lives in Germany and has previously been based in African and Middle East countries. He has contributed significantly to notable projects, such as the Planon IWMS implementation at Siemens, Vattenfall, Shell and Philips Real Estate, among many others. Koos’s commitment to client success and his multifaceted experience make him a valuable asset in the field of Integrated Workplace Management and Facilities Management.

Koos van Rij lives with his wife at their horse ranch in Germany, which is also home to sheep, dogs and cats. They love to discover local plant-based restaurants and try recipes. In his free time, Koos makes music. Amongst other music projects, he has been part of the Planon House Band on guitar and vocals for about 10 years.
