With over 30 years of experience in Facility Management—eight of which have been dedicated to Workplace Management, strategic health, and work environment—Micael Larsen brings deep and versatile expertise in workplace development. His career is marked by strong leadership, business development, and a genuine commitment to creating sustainable, efficient, and healthy work environments.
Micael has held several senior positions, including Sales and Marketing Director, Head of Sales, and Key Account Manager, and has been an active member of executive teams in both the real estate and FM sectors. He has extensive experience in outsourcing, property management, and leading complex organizations through change.
Today, Micael operates under the brand FM Competence as a workplace strategist, consultant, educator, and speaker. He supports companies in areas such as work environment, health, organizational culture, and change management—always with a structured approach and a sincere interest in the people behind the organization.
He has completed numerous programs in economics, business development, sales, and marketing—including executive education at IFL, Stockholm School of Economics. Micael also teaches Facility Management at Affärshögskolan, where he shares his practical and strategic knowledge with the next generation of FM professionals.
