We're seeking a Regional Marketeer to drive growth in new countries where we're expanding our footprint.


In this role, you'll spearhead the setup of cutting-edge marketing initiatives in regions where our presence is flourishing, like the Middle East, Spain, Italy, Japan, and South Africa. Your mission? To achieve rapid results by crafting and implementing innovative marketing strategies that boost visibility, drive demand, and elevate customer satisfaction.



You will closely collaborate with international sales and account management teams, local reseller partners, our global marketing experts, and agency partners when needed. To successfully fill the role:

  • You will contribute to the creation and execution of the annual local marketing plan in line with the go-to-market strategy and the corporate marketing strategy, including activity planning and budget;
  • You will support demand generation through dedicated initiatives that will create the required pipeline, such as on- and offline events (webinars, roundtables, trade shows), digital advertising campaigns, content syndication, and account-based marketing programmes;
  • You will support customer satisfaction and retention by developing relevant communications and organising customer-facing or online events;
  • You will promote the Planon brand and maintain a consistent image in terms of design, tone of voice and messaging – across all channels;
  • You will collaborate closely with sales managers and reseller partners to ensure marketing efforts translate into sales opportunities;
  • By using Salesforce and Marketo (marketing automation), you will measure, analyse and report on the ROI of different initiatives, safeguarding marketing data quality.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business and at least five years of B2B marketing experience within a corporate environment, preferably in software or technology;
  • Experience with a broad set of marketing disciplines including but not limited to event management, online marketing, social media, demand generation marketing, public relations, customer communications, and collateral creation;
  • Proactive attitude and able to work independently to support a rapidly growing organisation;
  • Proficient in English and Dutch, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Creative thinking, critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with innovative marketing expertise, are essential;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships quickly;
  • Experience working in a decentralised marketing organisation;
  • Proficiency in managing agencies and running marketing campaigns using marketing automation tooling and SalesForce CRM is desirable;
  • Familiarity with front-line B2B sales is an advantage.

These are the steps of our onboarding process:

  1. You will receive a welcome letter with information about your first working day.
  2. Your manager will welcome you on your first day and give you a tour of the office.
  3. You will collect your laptop and other assets from IT and visit HR to finalise the administrative onboarding.
  4. You follow the three-day online induction course by the Planon Academy.
  5. After your probation period, your manager discusses the continuation of the employment contract with you.
