Success doesn’t always come easy. In our eyes, cooperation, co-creation and teamwork across cultures and borders are all essential recipes for succeeding in both the short and long term. Here at Planon, we take ownership of achieving the best outcome possible for users, customers and partners, as well as ourselves.
We like people, not labels
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) are four pillars of social justice. They are essential components of our mission statement and are the key to unlocking the maximum potential of our individuals and teams. In everything we do, we try to break down barriers and build connections. Our programme on DEIB has been another crucial step towards a working culture that excludes nobody. We have a focus on diversity when it comes to our people, new hires, management, and leadership. We recruit, employ, and promote our employees based on their qualities and abilities, and do not discriminate in any manner.
Internal education also plays a big role in our DEIB programme with internal courses and regular workshops on topics such as, how to be a hiring manager, overcoming bias and intercultural competence. The global nature of our organisation and colleagues means we especially value these competences.
Not only is this the right thing to do for our employees, but it’s also key for moving all of us forward towards a brighter future. After all, if everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.
