Inge van de Laar

As the Manager of Global Facilities since September 2016, Inge plays a crucial role in implementing global workplace policies and healthy hybrid workplace concepts. She oversees company sustainability initiatives and is responsible for measuring impact, reporting, and engaging stakeholders. As part of the Shared Services management team and the Sustainability/ESG Steering Committee at Planon, she works closely with global vendor contracts, renovations, hospitality services, employee events, and the global Travel Department. Inge also manages day-to-day operations, security, and cleaning at the Planon Innovation Campus in Nijmegen.

Throughout her career at Planon, she has coordinated activities and supported the Planon board while leading the management support team and reception desk. Before joining Planon, she lived and worked in Singapore and Switzerland.

Inge is highly committed and has a strong background in service delivery, project management, and workplace experience. Over the years, she has successfully managed workplace improvement processes, implemented healthy and hybrid workplaces, and rolled out sustainability projects, achieving various certifications (WELL Platinum and ISO14001). Having an effective and empathetic management style, she builds meaningful relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Inge has a significant understanding of trends shaping facility management and is passionate about organising multiple projects, tasks and resources. Thanks to her energy, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving skills, she significantly contributes to Planon's operational efficiency and sustainability efforts. Inge holds an MBA in Facility Management.

Inge loves travelling, preferably together with her daughter, and enjoys having lunch with friends. She does agility training with her dog and has been riding horses for years. Currently, she takes care of her retired horse. As an active person, she does a lot of sports and pursues a healthy lifestyle.
