July 26, 2018 – The Planon Group is strengthening its position in Northern Europe by opening an office in Göteborg, Sweden. Planon sees a growing demand for Integrated Workplace Management Systems and Lease Accounting Solutions in the Nordic market and considers it strategically important to have a local office in the region. Planon has been recognised by Gartner and Verdantix as a ‘leader’ in the Integrated Workplace Management Solutions (IWMS) market for several consecutive years, and by opening this new office demonstrates its commitment to establishing a leading position in the Nordics.
The upcoming legislation around IFRS 16 is a driver for organisations to further professionalise their real estate processes and Planon is noticing an increase in the demand for its software solutions in this domain. Planon expects to grow its Nordic business significantly in the coming years and by opening the Göteborg office will offer more streamlined support to its future and existing customers, like Danfoss and Attendo.
Planon’s software is specifically designed to support multinational organisations. Global coverage is complemented by local presence, to ensure delivery and implementation are managed locally and that relevant cultural and legal requirements are taken into account.
Pierre Guelen, CEO and founder of the Planon Group says: “The rapid pace at which our customer base is growing in the Nordics has reinforced our decision to open an office in Sweden. This important market will contribute to our mission to extend our global leadership in real estate and facility management software.”
