Mark McBride is an experienced product and functional design leader with more than 16 years of experience in enterprise software delivery, specializing in translating complex business requirements into scalable, user-focused solutions. He has extensive experience working across product, development, consulting, and customer teams to deliver high-quality software capabilities that balance business needs, usability, and long-term maintainability.
Throughout his career at Planon, which began in 2010, Mark has worked across international teams and large-scale programs spanning the US, Asia, and Europe, delivering enterprise solutions for global organizations across multiple business domains. Field Services solutions, where he helped shape and deliver functional capabilities that support complex operational processes and mobile workforces.
He is currently part of the team responsible for helping drive the functional direction of
Planon’s AI framework initiatives, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with product standards, usability, governance, and platform capabilities. His expertise includes functional design, product ownership, requirements engineering, process modeling, stakeholder collaboration, and solution delivery.
He is known for bringing clarity to complex environments, aligning teams across regions and disciplines, and helping drive successful delivery outcomes in both product development and customer implementation projects. Mark also has strong experience mentoring teams, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and bridging the gap between business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical, consistent, and aligned with both customer and product needs.
In his personal life, Mark enjoys an active lifestyle, playing soccer and badminton every week. He is a keen traveler, with recent favorite destinations including Japan, South Africa, Las Vegas, and Cuba. Mark is an outgoing person who enjoys listening to live music, dining out, and a good sour beer.
