How long will your personal data be stored?

Planon stores personal data no longer than as permitted by law and required for the purpose for which the personal data is processed. EU directive compliance

Planon’s privacy and data protection practices are made and performed in accordance with the European Union Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Directive 2009/136/EC. Similarly, our data security practice is in accordance with, among others, the German Data Protection Act (BDSG). Any transfer of data beyond national borders is merely for data storage and back-up. All transfers are in strict compliance with these regulations and adhere to data security requirements. 

Planon commits to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and comply with the advice given by such authorities with regard to human resources data transferred from the EU and Switzerland in the context of the employment relationship.

Planon Corp. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Planon Corp. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. Planon Corp. has further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to ICDR-AAA, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. Non-personal data

In addition to personal data, Planon may automatically track general information such as Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the Website you are coming from, number of visits, average time of use, and pages accessed. We use this information to analyze aggregate traffic patterns throughout this website to continually improve our online offerings, the website’s user-friendliness, its efficiency, etc. Your identity cannot be determined from this information and this information will only be used by Planon to offer you a good service of the website and to improve it.
