6th, May 2015 - Planon has added innovative functionality to its IWMS solution to facilitate corporate real estate professionals’ ease of enrolling and leveraging BenchCoRE: CoreNet Global’s unique benchmarking service for the corporate real estate industry.
BenchCoRE is a CoreNet Global initiative, which aggregates and standardizes real estate portfolio data on a variety of cost, efficiency and portfolio profile characteristics for CoreNet Global members around the world. This state-of-the-art real estate benchmarking system is founded on years of research and identifies patterns, trends and opportunities for corporate real estate executives to deploy as they pursue cost and efficiency strategies.
“Having Planon’s IWMS feeding real estate portfolio data directly into BenchCoRE eliminates significant investment of time and resources needed prior to accessing key benchmarking information,” said Peter Holland, CoreNet Global’s Director of Benchmarking. “Current Planon users can easily implement BenchCoRE and start using the multiple reports in record time.”
Over 40 major corporations are participating and more join on a regular basis. Colliers and DTZ are also engaged in the program bringing the benefits of enhanced data analytics and benchmarking to their global corporate services clients.
This on-line, globally accessible, real estate portfolio benchmarking system provides corporate real estate professionals with valuable peer and cohort benchmarking reports and allows them to make comparisons across multiple industries, geographies and real estate asset classes. BenchCoRE provides 18 valuable standard reports on cost, space utilization or portfolio mix, allowing real estate executives to gain valuable insights and analytical tools to identify actionable portfolio performance improvements.
Since Planon understands that the added value of its software is the delivery of high-quality management information, Planon recently added unique functionality to its IWMS allowing its clients to quickly and easily export data already formatted to the BenchCoRE (and OSCRE aligned) specifications. This new functionality accelerates and facilitates participation in BenchCoRE for present and future clients and evidences a new level of industry collaboration that will serve to advance the important work undertaken by corporate real estate executives.
