August 30, 2017 - Planon today announced that it has been named "Leader" in the Verdantix 2017 Green Quadrant® Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS).
It was further recognized in the benchmark report as one of the top three suppliers in terms of its aggregate capability scores, an indication of strong functionality across all areas of real estate and facilities management.
Verdantix, an independent research and consulting firm with a focus on innovative technologies that optimize business operations, has introduced this new IWMS solution benchmark, examining the major vendors according to the capabilities of their software applications and the strength of market momentum. In the Green Quadrant®, Verdantix compares software providers who are active in the following domains: real estate, leasing and portfolio management, capital project management, space management, facilities management, workplace services, asset and maintenance management, energy and sustainability management.
According to Verdantix, “Planon scores highly on both the capabilities and momentum axes, placing it firmly into the Leaders’ Quadrant. (It) boasts one of the largest client bases in terms of number of firms actively using its IWMS solution.” The capabilities dimension assesses a broad spectrum of essential capabilities including management, security, integration, sustainability, user interface and enterprise reporting while the momentum dimension assesses success metrics such as market vision, customer base and product strategy.
Considering all supplier offerings assessed in the Green Quadrant analysis, Verdantix believes that Planon should be included on shortlists of the following buyers:
“This incredible result further validates what our 2,000 customers around the world already know - that they have made the right choice in choosing Planon’s IWMS to achieve their real estate and facility management goals,” said Fred Guelen, President of North American Operations and CFO. “It is also a recognition that our product strategy and vision for the future is the strongest in the IWMS market.”
