Bastiaan van der Mijl

Currently the Marketing Director for Planon Real Estate, Bastiaan worked at Reasult (now Planon Real Estate) for over 13 years, growing from business consultancy and project management via product management into marketing. This gives Bastiaan a broad experience in how to market SaaS products. As Director of Growth & Marketing at Reasult, he was in charge of steering marketing strategies across five countries. Bastiaan is not only creative, but also innovative. Specifically, he initiated and managed the implementation of cutting-edge marketing automation tools, and growth hacking, meant to streamline operations and maximise impact.

Prior to his role in marketing, Bastiaan practiced and improved his skills in product management, where he showed a keen eye for detail and innovation. Leading cross-functional teams, he has experience in building product roadmaps, defining product requirements, and driving seamless product releases across three distinct product lines. Bastiaan is skilled in user experience (UX) principles and has experience in various innovation projects, driving product excellence and customer satisfaction.

As part of his journey at Reasult, Bastiaan worked as Product Marketing Manager, where he was responsible for crafting value propositions, conducting market research, and providing crucial sales support. His strategic thinking was essential in implementing a company-wide structure of user and steering groups, cultivating strong customer relationships and driving product refinement.

Bastiaan is proud of a various skill set, coupled with his strategic vision and dedication, which positions him as a pivotal force in driving growth and innovation within Planon Real Estate.

Bastiaan enjoys cooking and sharing meals with friends and family, finding it a great way to connect. When he’s not in the kitchen, you'll often find him exploring the outdoors, or immersed in a good book. He enjoys learning and practising new things, which inspire him both personally and professionally.
