Human Rights
As Planon, we have a responsibility to uphold human rights both in the workplace and beyond.
We strongly believe that all business and organizations should avoid harming the human rights of people, environments, and the well-being of society at large. We follow local and international laws, regulations, customs, and culture. And we carefully consider the interests of all our stakeholders: employees, customers, business relations, suppliers, and society at large.
Labor
We are committed to creating an open culture for all our employees where everyone feels safe to speak up. Every employee has the right to free participation in labor unions and staff representation.
Planon has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, including human trafficking, all forms of servitude, and forced and compulsory labor, within our organization and supply chain.
We respect international treaties regarding child labor and contribute to the effective abolition of child labor.

Sustainability Scholarship Program
Planon participated as first corporate partner in the IFMA Foundation's Eric Teicholz Sustainability Facility Professional® (SFP®) Scholarship Program. The goal of the SFP Partner Program is to provide sustainability-related education beyond the original program’s yearly scholarships. Participating as Program Partner in the initiative provides an opportunity for organizations to support a sustainable future, creating a generation of facility management leaders committed to environmental best practices.
Planon founded the first additional program to the scholarship in 2022 and 2023 - which is related to the use of technology for sustainable FM practices - and has committed three additional scholarships per year for 2024-2026. Data and technology are vital components for facility managers to reduce their companies’ greenhouse gas emissions and other ecological footprints – eventually enabling a net-zero future based on green growth.

EcoVadis Silver medal - Top 15%
EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 75,000 rated companies. The EcoVadis sustainability assessment methodology is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into its business and management system.
WELL Building Certificate
WELL is the premier building standard to focus on enhancing people’s health and well-being through buildings. Planon was the first company in the Netherlands to achieve certification through WELL v2. The WELL Building Standard is a system that combines best practices in design and construction with scientific research.
ISO14001 Environmental Management
ISO14001 is the internationally recognized standard that specifies the requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an environmental management system. This helps to control the environmental aspects, reduce impacts and ensure legal compliance.
