Many clients are still progressing through adoption, creating a clear need for structured account management.

As Account Manager, you lead a portfolio of public sector clients, guiding adoption, driving renewals, and building long-term partnerships. You help institutions align departments, optimise operations, deliver measurable results, and strengthen public services. Backed by Schneider Electric, Planon offers credibility, stability, and local expertise, giving you the support of a trusted French group in a fast-growing software company.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with universities, metropolitan regions, social housing and government bodies.
  • Drive renewals and identify opportunities for growth, broader departmental use, or process improvements, supporting alignment around the Planon roadmap.
  • Drive structured follow-up and clear communication to boost satisfaction and adoption.
  • Navigate multi-department and multi-stakeholder environments to ensure successful implementation and broad adoption.
  • Organise review meetings, steering committees, and on-site visits to maintain trust, monitor progress, and sustain momentum.

Profile

You are comfortable in complex environments and understand how public sector organisations function. You are professional, organised, and skilled at building long-term partnerships across departments and stakeholders.

Your profile:

  • Experience working with public sector organisations such as universities, municipalities, or national government bodies.
  • Background in enterprise software, ERP, IWMS, or other complex B2B solutions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across multiple departments and engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Native or fluent French, with sufficient English for internal coordination.
  • A structured, proactive mindset with high ownership and the ability to manage long decision cycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

These are the steps of our onboarding process:

  1. You will receive a welcome letter with information about your first working day.
  2. Your manager will welcome you on your first day and give you a tour of the office.
  3. You will collect your laptop and other assets from IT and visit HR to finalize the administrative onboarding.
  4. You follow the three-day online induction course by the Planon Academy.
  5. Once your probation period ends, your manager discusses the continuation of the employment contract with you.
