By joining this important initiative, Planon becomes part of a growing global community of organizations committed to fostering responsible corporate behavior for a better world.
The UN Global Compact serves as a universal call to companies, urging them to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles covering human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. Moreover, it encourages companies to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Pierre Guelen, CEO and founder of Planon remarks, “In line with our commitment to these principles, Planon is proud to embark on this meaningful journey within the UN Global Compact. We believe that responsible business practices are not just a moral imperative, but also essential for creating a sustainable and prosperous future for all. This initiative reflects our commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and we look forward to making a positive impact on a global scale.”
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 15,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 70 local networks.
