Max Bögl Group invests in innovative technology to support FM services

Planon supports Max Bögl in the planning, execution and accounting of their FM services

5 June 2015 - Max Bögl – one of the biggest construction companies in Germany – offers professional solutions for constructing and operating (facilities management) of real estate. To ensure the high quality of its services portfolio, Max Bögl decided to implement an Integrated Workplace Management Solution. Since April 2015 Max Bögl employees are supported by Planon’s IWMS platform: Planon Universe.

In a thorough selection process – based on the yearly CAFM market overview created by Der Facility Manager, Valteq and GEFMA – Max Bögl developed a requirements matrix comparing its needs against the offering of ten pre-qualified system providers, filtering out the solution that fits best the group’s FM and IT requirements.

The first project fully managed by Planon software is a new quarter in Bavaria with 13.100 square meters of commercial space for retailers, restaurants, offices and services. In addition to that, this new district will encompass a hotel with over 100 rooms, a modern cinema and more than 550 parking-lots.

Karsten Bartels, Head of Facility Management at Max Bögl, explains: “With Planon Universe, we are now able to quickly implement a complete IWMS solution that supports our technical processes, lease management and services management, including SAP integration. Thanks to this solution we can provide all employees with relevant information more efficiently, from their desktop to their mobile devices.

Stephan Mau, General Manager Central Europe at Planon, says: “We are delighted to add one of Germany's top construction companies to our customer base and look forward to support the Max Bögl Group with our innovative software solutions."

The software will support – amongst other things – the planning of services, the documentation and planning of maintenance and audits, lease management as well as service charge billing.
