~ New Chief Financial Officer will support Planon’s global growth~
May 30, 2018 - Planon is pleased to announce that Edwin Klijsen has joined the Planon team as Chief Financial Officer. Edwin will be responsible for the Finance, IT and Information Management departments within the Planon Group, while also becoming a member of Planon’s executive board.
The appointment of Edwin Klijsen lines up with Planon’s ambitions for growth and the continuing professionalization of the rapidly growing organization, which will further enable Planon to offer their customers innovative software and best in class services. Edwin brings with him extensive international experience, having worked in an array of financial roles over twenty years, holding several senior management positions with leading companies including Ericsson, Imtech and Redwood Software.
Fred Guelen, president of North American operations will transfer his current CFO tasks to Edwin, allowing him to focus on further growing Planon's North American business. Fred will remain a member of Planon’s executive board. Planon’s recent large wins in the Higher Education industry – with significant clients such as Brown University, California Polytechnic State University and Dartmouth College – confirm Planon’s capabilities to continue investing significantly in its American business.
