Planon appoints Edwin Klijsen as new Chief Financial Officer

May 30, 2018 - Planon is pleased to announce that Edwin Klijsen has joined the Planon team as Chief Financial Officer. Edwin is responsible for the Finance, IT and Information Management departments within the Planon Group and will also become a member of Planon’s executive board.

The appointment of Edwin Klijsen is consistent with Planon’s growth ambitions and the development of our rapidly growing organisation to always offer Planon’s customers the most innovative software and best in class services. Edwin has worked in a wide range of financial roles for over twenty years and brings extensive international experience, including several senior management positions with leading companies including Ericsson, Imtech and Redwood Software.

Fred Guelen, president of North American operations will remain a member of Planon’s executive board, but transfer his current CFO tasks to Edwin, allowing him to focus on further growing Planon's North American business. Planon’s recent contracts in the Higher Education industry – with prestigious clients such as Brown University, California Polytechnic State University and Dartmouth College – reinforce the company’s decision to continue investing significantly in its American business.
