Your role

As Financial Accountant you are responsible for all accounting activities of one or more of our Planon entities. You work closely with our finance team and regional stakeholders. You ensure reliability and compliance of your administration to facilitate timely and trustworthy reporting. Your commitment goes beyond only entering the numbers. You crunch the data, check the input from your colleagues in AP and AR and double check your own.

You successfully fulfill your role by:

• Ensure all financial transactions and all controls of the assigned legal entities, including reconciliation of subledger and subsystems are performed and documented correctly and in a timely manner
• First point of contact in case of errors or corrections
• Ensure financial result of the assigned legal entities is reported according to group standards on a monthly basis and provides input to group and business control reporting
• Ensure the legal entities are compliant with local tax regulations
• Guide legal entities through the external audit (if applicable) and ensure compliancy with local accounting standards
• Provide the regional controller/ senior financial accountant with accurate information and support for actuals, forecast and budget
  

Profile

You are a driven, energetic team player who shows initiative and can operate standalone within the company’s guidelines. You are a proactive communicator towards your internal stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in finance.
• You have 3+ years of working experience in an accounting department.
• Familiar with Dutch GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Preferably, you are familiar with our financial applications: Exact Globe/Synergy, SalesForce and Certinia (PSA, FFA, Billing Central).
• You have profound working experience with Excel.
• You are enthusiastic and a reliable team player.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
