Lead Innovationlab

Planon Software, a leader in facility management and real estate software, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Lead for our Innovation Lab. This role is at the heart of our drive for innovation, overseeing the creation, development, and implementation of groundbreaking projects. The Lead Innovations will co-lead a team dedicated to transforming ideas into reality, ensuring that Planon remains at the forefront of technological advancements in our industry.

Key Responsibilities

This versatile role includes a number of core activities, which are broken down below:

Marketing and outreach

• Give presentations within the Innovation Lab to showcase the current projects and technologies and other developments.
• Represent Planon at industry events, engaging with stakeholders through presentations and discussions.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies, including publications and social media presence, to highlight the lab's achievements.
• Coordinate internal communication efforts to ensure company-wide awareness of Innovation Lab projects and initiatives.

Planon configuration and technical oversight

• Facilitate the integration of use cases into the Planon environment, focusing on access control, and overseeing technical integrations and maintenance.
• Creating demoable use cases within the software to showcase to our stakeholders and customers.

Project management

• Manage internal projects and departmental changes, driving innovation while ensuring alignment with Planon’s strategic objectives.

Organizational liaison

• Serve as point of contact for marketing, consultants, and sales teams, fostering strong, collaborative relationships across departments.

Internship program leadership

• Oversee the internship program, acting as a supervisor and provider of projects for interns, ensuring a meaningful and productive experience.
• Provide development and project support for interns, serving as the primary stakeholder and mentor to foster their growth and contribution to the Innovation Lab.

Roadmap development

• Help in the roadmap planning process, by identifying new projects that align with Planon’s innovation goals.

Profile

Would you like to lead our innovation lab, drive innovation, and manage the day-to-day operations of the lab? As Lead Innovation Lab you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities, develop and implement new products and services, and support the development of the overall innovation strategy.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a team.
• Proven experience of at least 4 years in project management, innovation, and technology development, preferably in a software or tech environment.
• Proven organizational and strategic planning abilities.
• Market knowledge in the service provider and IWMS sector is a must.
• Familiarity with the Planon software suite is a pre.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
• The ability to present/communicate in French or German is a plus.
