Global Finance Operations Director

As we are expanding our horizon and growing rapidly, we are looking for a true people manager in our Nijmegen headquarters to guide our finance teams towards a more professional, well-organized department.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining high-performing global teams: directly managing 3 team managers and a functional expert, and indirectly managing a global staff of around 40 people.
• Fostering a learning environment where both personal and team growth are supported.
• Overseeing the preparation and finalization of the organization’s global administrative monthly, quarterly and annual operations from C2C and P2P administration to F&A actuals reporting.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams within finance and beyond, to ensure seamless coordination of the activities and improvements.
• Implementing and managing financial controls and accounting procedures to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure the accuracy of its financial statements.
• Ensuring compliancy, and application of finance policies and procedures throughout the Planon Group.
• Leading the development and execution of operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity across the organization.
• Managing the organization’s risk profile by identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect against financial loss and operational disruptions.
• Spearheading the integration of technology and information systems to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational effectiveness, working effectively together with IM, IT and the rest of the organization to implement improvements.

You will be part of a team of 3 Finance Directors who will report into the CFO.

Our ideal candidate ticks the following boxes:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• You have more than 8 years of financial experience in a relevant position and a proven track record as a manager of a similar sized team;
• Besides being a people manager, you are able to optimize work processes;
• You have experience and a background in Dutch Gaap and preferably in IFRS as well;
• You have excellent speaking and writing skills in English and Dutch;
• You have experience in an international environment.
