Intern Legal - Nijmegen

Do you want to gain legal experience with the market leader in software for smart and sustainable building management in an informal work environment? Planon is looking for you!

The Legal internship is an independent 'hands-on' internship where you will closely observe the daily activities of the Planon Legal Department. You will be involved in various ways in ongoing projects to gain a comprehensive understanding of the duties of a legal counsel in an internationally operating software company.

The Planon Legal Department is responsible for all in-house legal support for various business processes of both Dutch and international companies that are part of the Planon Group.

"During my internship at Planon, I gained a better understanding of the legal aspects of a business and everything it entails. Besides being educational and interesting, I found the internship very pleasant due to the great atmosphere at Planon. Throughout the internship, you will encounter various legal issues and have the opportunity to develop independently. You will be actively involved in the team and have the space to explore your personal interests. I highly recommend this internship to anyone curious about the business side of law!" -- Emma Hoogestijn (Radboud University student, Faculty of Law)

Your tasks include carefully reviewing (draft) agreements, independently managing and monitoring the signing process. You will also support legal counsels in various countries with tasks related to various legal areas. You will actively participate in ongoing projects and incoming legal inquiries and have the opportunity to attend internal and external meetings. You will work in the same office as the legal counsels, allowing you to gain a good understanding of the daily life of a corporate lawyer. Additionally, we offer the option to work in a hybrid manner and are flexible with your schedule.

  • You are motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive.
  • You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • You have good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

The internship requires a minimum of 4 working days per week (preferably 5 days) for a duration of at least 3-4 months. Successfully completing your studies is a top priority, and therefore, we can accommodate your exam schedules by temporarily reducing your work hours or even granting you time off.

We encourage a collaborative and learning-focused work environment in an inspiring international setting.
