Intern Digital Marketing - Nijmegen

We are looking for a motivated, creative and pro-active personality to join our Corporate Marketing team. As an intern you will work in the inspiring and international Marketing team of Planon. The Global Marketing department is developing and executing a winning marketing strategy to support Planon’s ambitious growth objectives. As an intern you will support the Digital Marketing team and work with our marketing colleagues across the globe.

The Digital Marketing team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the corporate website, search engine optimization and advertising, social media, maintaining and optimizing all marketing operational tools (like a marketing automation platform, an interactive content platform and a press releases management tool).

You meet the following criteria:

• You must be registered at a 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Master degree in marketing, (international) business, communications and/or journalism;
• Knowledge of digital marketing and understanding of the importance of integrated communication;
• Experience with demand generation activities such as e-mail marketing is a plus;
• Experience with writing content such as social media messages or blog posts is a plus;
• Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise, schedule, and meet deadlines;
• Strong team player, collaborative, service-oriented, hands-on and eager to learn, like working in dynamic environment;
• Good oral and written communications skills in English;
• Experience using marketing automation software such as Marketo would be beneficial, but not required;
• Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.

This is an internship at our headquarters, based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. If you wish you can work a third of your days from your home office. Applications must be in English.

• Implementing and analysing A/B tests on our website and emails;
• Improving Planon’s personalised content strategy;
• Analysing how Planon can optimise their YouTube channel to generate more traffic;
• Optimising Planon’s webpages to generate more form fill outs.
