Three things about Jelles
Hi, I am Jelles, 33 years old and I live in Culemborg, the Netherlands. About ten years ago, I started working at Planon as an IT consultant. After 4 years, I decided to move to Peru, where I worked for two years. Four years ago, I moved back to the Netherlands. I am happy that I rejoined Planon and that I am since recently Services Manager for our UK team. What I like about Planon is its ambitious and international character, while at the same time the company has an open and friendly culture.
Besides work, I love nature, hiking, and traveling - especially to South America! It is a beautiful continent with extremely high mountains, stunning beaches, and the beautiful Amazon rainforest. What of course also helps, is that my girlfriend is Peruvian... When the situation allows me to, I occasionally work a week or two remote from Peru whilst visiting my family in law. After working hours, I like to spend time with friends and family.
One of the things that I like to do with friends and family is enjoying some good food. I love to cook, and I worked in an Italian kitchen for about 6 years. Though, if I have to choose, I think Indian food might be my favorite! With friends, we often organize dinner sessions, which in summer often turn into a BBQ of course!
