Anticipating on significant reporting changes, we are looking for a Reporting Specialist, located in our Nijmegen headquarters. Are you thrilled being part of a new beginning?


Planon is growing rapidly. We more than doubled the numbers in the last 3 years as a result of both organic growth as well as our buy and build strategy.
As Finance, we need to prepare for the upcoming changes in reporting requirements to all stakeholders, internally and externally.
In this new role of Reporting Specialist you have a unique opportunity to build a new foundation.
You will have the possibility to understand complex reporting requirements of a midsized multinational like Planon and contribute to solving those and bring us to the next level of reporting. Overall, an exciting journey where you will be able to grow as a finance professional.

You are successful in your role by

  • Translating changing requirements into new reporting model including impact analysis on accounting setup
  • Performing financial reporting and consolidation
  • Leading role in the execution of the monthly group reporting process
  • Leading role in the execution of the quarterly and annual group reporting process
  • Leading role in the execution of the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Performing recurring and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Interpreting data, draw conclusions and provide focused guidance
  • Preparing updates for the reporting manual and contribute to the accounting manual
  • Participate in improvement projects related to accounting and reporting

Our ideal candidate ticks the following boxes:

  • Post Master’s degree in Accounting (AA/RA);
  • Relevant experience with consolidation and reporting is a must;
  • Sound knowledge of both Dutch GAAP and preferably IFRS;
  • Excellent MS office skills (Excel, Powerpoint);
  • You are enthusiastic, proactive and self-starting;
  • You have good communication skills;
  • Experience with consolidation systems (Lucanet, HFM) is preferred;
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
