~ Planon’s new office in Hong Kong will support the growing need for IWMS solutions in Asia ~
25 February 2015 - The Planon Group is strengthening its position in the Asian market by opening a new office in Hong Kong. Planon sees the increasing importance of the Hong Kong market and the growing demand for Integrated Workplace Management Systems in Hong Kong. With the opening of the new office Planon consolidates its commitment to the Asian market.
Planon expects to grow its Hong Kong and Singapore business significantly in the coming years and plans a number of crucial investments in the Asian market. The software group will strengthen its position in the market and provide better support to Planon’s current (e.g. JTC, Singapore Management University, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department Hong Kong) and future customers. Moreover this significant investment will help create more jobs in both cities.
The opening of a new office also shows Planon’s strong commitment to obtain a leading position in the Asian market, comparable to its position in Europe. Planon has been recognized by Gartner as a ‘leader’ in the Integrated Workplace Management Solutions (IWMS) market for six consecutive years.
Alex Lim, General Manager of Planon Asia Pte Ltd, said: “We are really delighted to announce the opening of the office in Hong Kong, as this is a very important market for Planon. We see a growing demand for real estate management and maintenance management solutions. National and multinational organisations are demanding ways to simplify business processes and reduce costs related to space and operational processes. Combined with high cost for space renting in both cities we are happy we can offer our customers solutions to reduce their costs and reach their goals”.
