Your job
As a New Business Sales Professional, you will play a pivotal role in identifying emerging market trends, generating new opportunities, and building a robust network within the (Western European) Commercial Real Estate market. You’ll craft and execute both short- and long-term sales strategies, continually assessing their effectiveness to ensure success. Working closely with our dedicated Real Estate team, your strategic expertise and collaborative approach will help drive Planon to the next level, securing valuable partnerships and expanding our impact across the region.
You successfully fulfil your role by:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan;
- Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities in both established and emerging markets;
- Achieve personal sales targets while contributing to team success;
- Actively represent Planon within the real estate market;
- Respond effectively to RFQs and RFPs, showcasing our solutions’ value;
- Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations at client sites;
- Participate in international events and maintain an active, professional presence on social media;
- Maintain a reliable sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting using Salesforce.

Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Proven commercial skills in a new business position: At least 5 to 10 years’ relevant work experience* ;
- Experience in selling software / SaaS solutions at C-level;
- Experience in and/or knowledge of the commercial real estate sector;
- Experience with creating and executing a sales plan;
- Fluent in English and Dutch, any additional language is a plus;
- Willingness to travel.
