Your Job

As a Product Owner, you will act as the primary interface between our Solution Center and Software Development. You will be responsible for managing the Product Backlog and coordinating release and sprint planning.
You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative, team of developers, product managers, and other functional designers, all working together to achieve shared goals.


You successfully fulfil your role by:

  • Manage the Product Backlog and oversee sprint and release planning.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear user stories and pass them on to the software development team.
  • Verify the implemented features.
  • Coordinate regularly with internal colleagues from software development, product and project management, and customer service.
  • Present the implemented features in regular sprint reviews together with the development team.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a passion for functional design, capable of balancing existing technologies with new innovations. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive both development and strategic direction.
Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:

  • You have a degree in IT or a strong affinity for technology.
  • You have experience of 4 – 6 years in Product Ownership, agile methodologies.
  • Having Product Owner / Scrum certifications are a plus.
  • You have solid knowledge and experience with agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • You have professional experience in the construction and real estate industry.
  • You communicate clearly, present convincingly, and always keep an overview thanks to your organizational skills.
  • You work independently and analytically, while remaining creative, eager to learn, and team-oriented.
  • You use your strong German (B2 and above) and English skills to communicate confidently in a global environment.

These are the steps of our onboarding process:

  1. You will receive a welcome letter with information about your first working day.

  3. You will collect your laptop and other assets from IT and visit HR to finalise the administrative onboarding.
  4. You follow the three-day online induction course by the Planon Academy.
  5. After your probation period, your manager discusses the continuation of the employment contract with you.
