In this role, you will help clients turn these challenges into tangible business results through innovative software solutions and expert consultancy. At the same time, you will develop new markets, build strategic customer relationships, and make a direct contribution to the growth of Planon Building Management.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans for assigned market segments.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, network development, and targeted market engagement.
  • Lead complex sales processes, including public tenders, RFPs, and procurement projects.
  • Advise customers on software, data, and real estate management solutions, translating their challenges into practical, value-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at management, executive, and board level.
  • Develop and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, including forecasting and opportunity management in Salesforce.

Profile

You are an entrepreneurial sales professional who enjoys opening new doors and winning complex commercial opportunities. You combine a consultative sales approach with a strong commercial mindset and know how to engage multiple stakeholders throughout strategic decision-making processes.

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B software, SaaS, or solution sales.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles with longer decision-making processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging executive and board-level decision-makers.
  • Affinity with real estate, asset management, or facility management.
  • Commercially driven with strong analytical skills and the ability to position compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

These are the steps of our onboarding process:

  1. You will receive a welcome letter with information about your first working day.
  2. Your manager will welcome you on your first day and give you a tour of the office.
  3. You will collect your laptop and other assets from IT and visit HR to finalise the administrative onboarding.
  4. You follow the three-day online induction course by the Planon Academy.
  5. After your probation period, your manager discusses the continuation of the employment contract with you.
