Director - Functional Architecture & Platform Capabilities

Do you want to define and drive the functional vision of a global enterprise platform? At Planon, part of Schneider Electric, we are building one integrated platform that powers multiple Planon Solutions across industries, customers and partners. As our Functional Director - Functional Architecture & Platform Capabilities, you will play a key role in defining the functional architecture of the Planon Application Framework (PAF), one of Planon’s most strategic assets.

Working within the CTO Office, you will translate customer, market and solution requirements into reusable, scalable platform capabilities that accelerate innovation across all Planon Solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Development Directors, Technology Directors and other senior stakeholders to ensure every platform investment contributes to a stronger, more coherent and future-ready platform.

What will you do

  • Own and govern the platform capability model that forms the foundation of all Planon Solutions.

  • Translate customer, market and business requirements into reusable platform capabilities that drive innovation at scale.

  • Establish governance standards that promote platform consistency and prevent functional duplication across solution domains.

  • Balance short-term product demands with long-term platform integrity, scalability and reuse.

  • Drive adoption of shared capabilities across Product Management, Architecture and Development teams.

  • Build a functional platform strategy that enables faster delivery of new solutions while strengthening the overall platform ecosystem.
